Suitable for pistols and other firearms, our SR500 ballistic steel targets provide challenging long range rifle targets, too.

These targets offer a good challenge for competitive hand gunners or gun clubs with high shooting volumes. They handle handguns and rifles with impact velocities up to 3000 f.p.s. with 3500 ft. lb. impact energy. We recommend a minimum distance from target to shooter of 10 yards for non-magnum pistols, 25 yards for magnum handguns, and 100 yards for centerfire rifles up to .308 Win / .30-06 class (200 yards for loads over 3,000 fps at the muzzle). Magnum rifles like .300 Win Mag are not recommended on 3/8" steel.
