Spinner Target
The Spinner Target has 6″ and 8″ SR500 steel target plates. We made them this way so one is heavier than the other which makes a great experiment with gravity. Of course, the heavier one offsets the balance. The object defeating the Spinner is to get it to rotate completely around in the fewest number of shots. When you shoot the bottom target the top target moves toward you. If you shoot the top target as it begins to swing away from you, it gets more momentum.
The hardened SR500 targets mount to a 3/8″ steel bracket and rotate on a bearing press fitted into the steel brackets that mount on a steel shaft. The focus you’ll need to get this target spun is what makes it such a great tool. You have to hit the target every time AND you have to hit it at the RIGHT time. And if you only shoot the bottom target it takes forever to get the full rotation.
Great for pistol, but it is just as much fun with lead birdshot, lead 00 buck (lead shot only, never steel shot, from 10 yards minimum), or your rifle. With a .223, a 30 round mag, and 200 yards, you’ve got your work cut out for you, guaranteed. Challenge your long range rifle skills with this target at 300+ yards. Great for training all levels of shooters – beginners to elite LE, military or competitive shooters. This one gets it done!

Why SR500 Instead of AR500?
SR500 (“Shooting Range” 500) is SSAB's Ramor SR500, a ballistic steel made specifically for shooting targets. Standard AR500 is an abrasion-resistant wear plate originally made for industrial equipment, and it typically tests around 477–534 Brinell. SR500 carries a guaranteed minimum hardness of 500 Brinell, so the strike face resists pitting and cratering longer and your target stays smoother and safer, round after round. If you’ve been shopping for AR500 targets, SR500 is the upgrade.
