The Hostage Target & Signature Stand combo is engineered for shooters seeking realistic training scenarios with maximum durability. Made from SR500 ballistic steel, the hostage target offers superior resistance to repeated impacts, ensuring long-lasting performance. Featuring a dynamic hostage paddle system, the target challenges shooters to make precise shots under pressure. The paddle swings to the opposite side upon impact, providing immediate visual feedback to confirm accuracy.

Paired with the Signature Stand, this setup ensures a stable and reliable shooting platform. The stand is constructed from heavy-duty steel and designed to securely support the weight of the SR500 target, preventing tipping or shifting during high-volume use. Its modular design allows for quick assembly and compatibility with various target types, making it a versatile addition to any range setup.

Ideal for tactical drills, defensive practice, and competition training, the Hostage Target & Signature Stand combination helps shooters develop speed, accuracy, and confidence in high-pressure scenarios.

Key Features:

  • SR500 Ballistic Steel: Superior durability to withstand repeated impacts without warping.
  • Reactive Paddle System: Swinging paddle provides instant feedback for precise shot placement.
  • Heavy-Duty Signature Stand: Stable and secure design prevents tipping during intense use.
  • Modular Setup: Quick and easy assembly with compatibility for various targets.
  • Realistic Training Experience: Designed for tactical, defensive, and competitive shooting practice.

Why SR500 Instead of AR500?

SR500 (“Shooting Range” 500) is SSAB's Ramor SR500, a ballistic steel made specifically for shooting targets. Standard AR500 is an abrasion-resistant wear plate originally made for industrial equipment, and it typically tests around 477–534 Brinell. SR500 carries a guaranteed minimum hardness of 500 Brinell, so the strike face resists pitting and cratering longer and your target stays smoother and safer, round after round. If you’ve been shopping for AR500 targets, SR500 is the upgrade.
