The Dueling Tree is engineered to provide shooters with a challenging and fun training experience. Its interactive design makes it perfect for honing reflexes, accuracy, and competitive spirit.
Versatile Configurations for All Skill Levels
Catering to various shooting preferences, the Dueling Tree is available in three configurations:
-
Rifle Dueling Tree: Equipped with six 6-inch round paddles made from 3/8-inch thick SR500 ballistic steel, designed to withstand high-velocity rifle rounds.
-
Pistol Dueling Tree: Features six 6-inch round paddles crafted from 1/4-inch thick SR500 ballistic steel, ideal for non-magnum handgun calibers.
Dynamic and Responsive Target System
Each paddle is designed to smoothly flip from one side to the other when struck, providing immediate visual feedback and allowing for continuous shooting without the need to reset the target. This feature is excellent for competitive shooting practice, where two shooters can engage from opposite sides, aiming to clear the paddles to their opponent's side.
Robust and Stable Construction
Standing at 5 feet tall and weighing 85 pounds, the Dueling Tree is built for stability and durability. Its commercial-grade design ensures it can handle high-volume use, making it suitable for both personal and professional training environments. The post not being rifle rated makes for a good challenge to keep on target. The patent-pending base design offers a solid foundation, ensuring the target remains steady during intense shooting sessions.
Easy Assembly and Portability
Despite its sturdy build, the Dueling Tree is designed for straightforward assembly and disassembly, allowing for easy transport and setup in various shooting locations.
Why SR500 Instead of AR500?
SR500 is SSAB's Ramor SR500, a ballistic steel made specifically for shooting targets. Standard AR500 is an abrasion-resistant wear plate originally made for industrial equipment, and it typically tests around 477–534 Brinell. SR500 carries a guaranteed minimum hardness of 500 Brinell, so the strike face resists pitting and cratering longer and your target stays smoother and safer, round after round. If you’ve been shopping for AR500 targets, SR500 is the upgrade.
